The Rangemaster A090998 flame safety device (FSD) is a central part of any gas cooker. Ensuring your cooker doesn't leak gas, this device will automatically cut off the supply should a flame accidentally extinguish.

So what are the signs that your FSD has broken? First thing you'll notice is the smell of gas when a flame has gone out. Left unfixed this can be very dangerous and could cause serious injury.

We would advise that you get this part fitted by a Gas Safe registered engineer, as an incorrect fitting can cause a gas leak.
