Rangemaster, Leisure & Falcon Flame Safety Device

The Rangemaster A024879 flame safety device (FSD) is a vital part of any gas cooker. Should a flame extinguish by accident, the FSD will automatically shut off the gas supply.

If you observe a gas smell or leaking from your cooker, it may be your FSD that has broken. Left unfixed, this can lead to a dangerous gas leak that could cause serious injury.

We would firmly urge you to use a Gas Safe registered engineer to fit your new part. Should you fit it incorrectly, you could suffer a major gas leak.
