If you are looking for this part it is probably because the plastic shaft has broken due to poor design. Good news is the design has been modified and a metal reinforcement band placed around the outside of the shaft. I assume this will be the same for the other control knobs. Unfortunately it seems the part number was not changed for the new design so there may be no way to know the new part is being supplied.
Thanks so much for your feedback. As far as we are aware all new parts now come with the metal reinforcement.
