Straighten out a metal coat hanger and wrap a glass cleaning wipe around it, securing it in place with an elastic band.

Infiltrate

Most ovens will have a drawer or casing below the oven door itself.

Remove this front panel to reveal the oven door’s exposed inner workings. This will give your additional access to the oven door, including the usually inaccessible oven glass.

Behind Enemy Lines

By laying under the now exposed door base, you’ll now be able to see open slots, giving you access between the oven and the window glass.

Slide the wire cleaning wand into the gap and simply wipe away the dirt from the grubby area.

For dirty glass, this may take a couple of goes with several new wipes – but be persistent. The result will be worth the effort!

Fall Back

Once clean, simply remove the wand and bask in the glory of a job well done!

How to replace your shattered Zanussi oven door: 

• The first thing you will need to do is clean up any broken glass from your kitchen, it can be a real safety hazard and we don't want any more accidents regarding this shattered glass door!

• Next, you'll have to remove the oven door, most simply just unlatch so you can lift it off its hinges. Be careful not to disturb all or the remaining shattered glass.

• Depending on whether it is the outside or inner glass that is broken, you may need to unscrew the inner shell from the main door frame. Lay the door down carefully and unscrew the panel. 

• Then you should be able to access the broken glass from the oven door, if it can't be removed in one piece, use protective gloves to remove the stray shards from the door.

• Now it's time to insert the new glass pane, make sure it is clean and smudge free and lay it in place.

• Reattach the screws as they were before you removed them and reattach the fixed oven door back to the main oven

How to replace your shattered Indesit oven door glass: 

1. To be able to replace the shattered glass, you'll need to begin by removing the door to be able to work on it. Most oven doors can be simply unlatched, and lifted off the hinges. Do this very carefully as to not disturb the shattered glass - you don't want it going all over the floor!

2. Next, you will notice that the oven glass is held in place by the door's inner shell. In order to remove it, you will need to unscrew it from the main door frame. Make sure that you have laid the door on a suitable surface before you begin to loosen the screws that hold the panel in place. Using a screwdriver, you should remove all the screws and set them aside, making note of which goes where.

3. You should now be able to access the broken glass. Remove it carefully (using protective gloves if it can not be removed in one piece). Take care to remove any stray bits of glass that may still be attached the door. 

4. Make sure your replacement glass pane is clean, then carefully set it in place of the one you have just removed. Be careful, as this whole process has taught us, glass can be fragile!

5. Finally screw the inner panel back together and reattach the door to the main oven. There you have it, you have successfully replaced you shattered Indesit oven door!
